Macchi, operative division of Sofinter, has related the achievement the objectives planned in terms of business growth and consolidation of its reputation on the international markets, to the severe respect of the principles of quality management defined by the standard EN ISO 9000:2000, as mentioned in this quality manual and the cited procedures.

understanding and satisfying the requirements of the customer for the purpose of obtaining and increasing the customer's satisfaction; the attention towards the customer will last over time, guaranteeing rapid and effective assistance even after delivery of the completed equipment.
The aforesaid customer satisfaction will be traced back to measurable results that will be object of continuous reviews and consequent implementation by the High Management;
not accepting orders whose realization may jeopardize the reputation of the firm; for this purpose the customer's requirements, before their acceptance, will be reviewed by the High Management and the function managers to determine their consistency with the corporate quality objectives;
designing and manufacturing steam generators according to mandatory requirements, in accordance with the requests of the customer, applying the appropriate technologies and the resources available in the organization;
purchasing materials, equipment and services from qualified producers selected according to criteria of quality, reliability and competitiveness; in order to maintain the required standard through the time, the organization will take steps to carry out continuous controls and verifications with its own suppliers;
circulating information about the corporate quality management principles among its personnel, involving the personnel in the attainment of the target objectives. Furthermore, the High Management shall plan the investments necessary for the professional growth of the Company personnel, the technological updating of the product, the improvement of the production system efficiency and the control of the business process;
fixing objectives of continuous improvement in the effectiveness of the quality management system, aiming for an optimisation of the resources and a reduction of the “non-quality” costs, with consequent increase in the efficiency of the organization; the results obtained will be measured and monitored by the High Management with the purpose of defining and implementing new action strategies.
